While on a little walk along Lake Michigan, I chanced upon this quiet, kind of lonely, and deserted walkway leading down to the beach and Lake Michigan. There was something quite serene about it, and I imagined such a great story to go with it, I painted it for my Great Lakes Series. It's done in Watercolors on a 16 X 20 Watercolor Canvas. Hope you like it!
I love the arts! I've always loved the passion and creativity the artist expresses. I love watching artists as they paint, draw, sing, write, dance, or play their music! Best of all, I passionately love being an artist! The freshness of a new piece is always exciting. It's an adventure in possibilities! The movement of the paint as it swims across the paper or blends with another color is a visual party you just don't want to miss.

Chrystyne, I think I should hire you to do my descriptions. I loved what you wrote! Thank you so much!

Lovely watercolor painting of this shore scene by Lake Michigan. Love the warm colors of the grassy reeds and the golden lake shore that contrasts beautifully with the deep blues of the lake. The stepped walkway acts as a lovely leading line that invites the eye to travel down from the berm towards the golden shores to stroll near the water. L/F
