Artist, Karen Ann, has had a banner week so far in the art world through Fine Art America as several of her paintings and photographs were Featured on the home pages of many of the groups representing thousands of artists from around the world! Among those Paintings Featured were Huntress, Midnight Iris, Dance Moves, Driftwood Musings, Hummm-er. and Color of Spring. Photographs Featured included Double Hibiscus Dressed in Peach, and Rose in Shadow.

Summer Scents, a newer watercolor by Karen Ann, and Amaryllis Morning, were recently given the honor of being featured in The Amazing Still Life Art Works group of Fine Art America. The purpose of this Group is to display the very best of members' classic Still Life artwork depicting mostly inanimate subject matter and is administered by Dora Sofia Caputo.

Artist, Karen Ann, continues to win awards and recognition for her watercolor, Wet Iris. In the most recent contest, Quick BLUE FLOWER, hosted by the Exquisite Florals Group, Wet Iris tied for a First Place Win and bragging rights!

"Pup Pals," a 22' x 30' watercolor by Artist, Karen Ann, was recently chosen as an Administrator's Pick and is showcased on the homepage of the “Exclusively Drawings and Paintings” group!

The theme of this particular art competition was an opportunity to feature your elegant butterfly, moth, bee, and/or dragonfly artwork using any media includng photography. Over 200 artists answered the call and submitted their art work. Anita Faye, administrator for the group, recently contacted Karen Ann with the good news: "Congratulations for 2rd place win in the "Whispering Wings" Contest! Beautiful watercolor Karen!."
